About Brísingamen

In the old stories, Brísingamen is Freyja’s necklace—an image of radiance, desire, and worth that can’t be bargained away. I make jewelry in that spirit: amber-glow light, gold leaf, leather, and stone—pieces meant to be worn, not displayed. Intimate. Lived-in. Alive.

Handmade
Maker portrait
Each piece is assembled and finished by hand. Small variations are part of the work — the mark of real materials and a human hand, not a factory line. An honor to our namesakes origin.
Legend-informed
Freyja
I’m a Norse Pagan with a devotional focus on Freyja. The jewelry is inspired by lore, symbols, and atmosphere — seiðr, gold, amber light, and the freedom Freyja represents.
Materials
You’ll see pieces built around quartz, stone and crystals, black leather cords, and hand-laid gold leaf symbols — runes and simple silhouettes (like Mjölnir) that catch light the way myth does.
Heathen, not hateful
The art is inspired by Norse legends and historical aesthetics — never extremist symbolism. This space is welcoming, respectful, and explicitly anti-hate.
